If you have at least the versions listed directly below
and have installed these versions on your Windows XP computer, you can
run the respective updaters
for Windows XP compatibility:
*IntelliMathics version 1.0 (released 4/2001)
*IntelliTalk II version 1.1.3 (released 6/2001)
*IntelliPics Studio version 1.0 (released 11/2001)
ClickIt! version 1.03 (released 2/2002)
1. *Text-to-Speech error
When you open IntelliMathics, IntelliTalk II, or IntelliPics Studio, you
will see a Text-to-Speech error ("Error creating TTSEnumerator (CoCreateInstance),
this application will terminate"). After you dismiss this error,
you will have no synthesized voices. Open the Utilities folder found on
your IntelliMathics or IntelliTalk II or IntelliPics Studio CD and run
the installers in the MSTTS and SAPI 4 folders. Re-start your computer.

Our compatibility
testing has identified a workaround for the following issues that you may encounter:
2. Overlay sending error
When you have a PS/2 mouse attached and no IntelliKeys USB software
installed and
you open IntelliTools software, you may see a message that "overlays
are sending" or "error sending overlays". In addition, your
PS/2 mouse may perform erratically. Installing IntelliKeys USB software
fixes this problem If you do not have IntelliKeys USB, please
download the PS2MouseXP
Patch. Save this file xpps2mouse.exe to your desktop. then
double-click this file to install this fix.
3. **No speech
You will need to:
Download Microsoft
Speech API. Save sapi40.exe to your Desktop. Double-click sapi40.exe
to install Microsoft Speech API.
Download the Microsoft
Text-to-Speech installer. Save "mstts.exe" to your Desktop.
Double-click mstts.exe to install Text-to-Speech (English) voices.
4. Shortcuts to open the program disappear when logging in as
different users.
Create shortcuts for each application. The IntelliTools applications are
typically installed to their respective subfolders in the C:\ITOOLS folder.
Put these shortcuts in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Intellitools
Software. Delete any duplicate shortcuts.

If you have versions older than the versions listed above:
- Do not install your IntelliTools software older versions.
- If your IntelliTools software was re-installed, uninstall these
older versions through the Add/Remove Programs control panel.
- Contact IntelliTools Customer Service to purchase Windows 2000/XP
compatible upgrades for the product(s) that you require. You can
