“The IntelliKeys Keyboard was chosen as one of the primary products which will be used in Kentucky One-Stop career Centers to provide computer access for customers with disabilities. The IntelliKeys was chosen from among three other alternative keyboard products by a panel of rehabilitation engineers, technologists and consumers who work for a variety of state agencies. As a rehabilitation engineer, I have been working with IntelliKeys in a variety of settings and applications. There is no other product on the market which provides a more efficient combination of state-of-the- art hardware, well designed standard and keyboard setup overlays, easy-to-use software for custom programmability, and first rate technical support and training. In our particular application, we are faced with the challenge of quickly accommodating customers with disabilities without any prior knowledge of their computer access needs. Another challenge that we face is that One-Stop support staff are not experts in the use of Assistive technology. We feel that IntelliKeys is one of the very few products available that can provide the flexibility, reliability and ease-of-use that will be required in our state's One-Stop-Centers.”
