 Classroom Suite ReadingTutor covers reading concepts from letter name identification, all major letter sounds in the initial, medial, and final positions, and rime sounds through phonemic awareness and phonics activities. The lessons also cover all sight words on the Dolch Pre Primer-2nd list as well as the 100 Highest Frequency Words as research by Jan Brett. The product focuses on phonemic awareness, phonics, and vocabulary through sight words as the basis to build strong reading skills. This product specifically includes:
- 398 activities (KK–118; Level 1–138; Level 2–142), for a total of 26 hours of sequenced instruction.
- Targeted instruction covering K through 2nd grade basic reading concepts.
- 30 units covering grade level content organized and sequenced by concept.
- Activities involving matching, blending, and manipulating phonemes as well as letter sound correspondence.
These Classroom Suite activities provide students with constructive practice and embedded assessment of student performance. As students finish activities and units, automatic reports are generated to show student performance. Teachers can utilize the report data to identify individual needs and modify instruction accordingly.
