II. An Introduction to IntelliKeys USB and IntelliSwitch
IntelliKeys is a programmable alternative keyboard for students or adults who have difficulty using a standard keyboard. IntelliSwitch is a wireless switch interface that is programmable for access to most applications. Join us in learning how IntelliKeys and IntelliSwitch can meet the needs of students and adults with physical, cognitive, and visual disabilities. Topics to be covered include:

  • Overview of IntelliKeys USB and IntelliSwitch
  • Connecting your IntelliKeys and IntelliSwitch
  • Working with standard and custom overlays
  • Customizing settings on IntelliKeys USB and IntelliSwitch

III. Beginning Authoring with IntelliTools Classroom Suite
In this presentation, participants will learn entry level skills to authoring using the Basic 1 templates. Topics to be covered include:

  • How to find the template you need
  • The new Easy Explore Template for creating early concepts activities
  • Control+click the secret to authoring with IntelliTools Classroom Suite
  • How to Save your new activity and Assign it to students

IV. Intermediate Authoring with IntelliTools Classroom Suite
Have you been authoring with Basic 1 templates and are ready to move to the next level? This session will cover higher level authoring skills. Skills to be covered include:

  • Working with text boxes
  • Capturing answers
  • Creating IntelliMations
  • Importing graphics
  • Editing actions

V. Customizable Access with IntelliKeys USB and Overlay Maker 3
You can deliver customized computer access for a diverse range of cognitive and physical needs with IntelliKeys USB. This session explores the new features of the IntelliKeys USB software, version 3.0.1, providing unprecedented access for applications on your computer. Topics to be covered include:

  • Setting up any application for seamless access through the IntelliKeys
  • Using Overlay Maker 3 to create custom overlays for applications
  • The Popular Software Overlays set now available for programs such as Kurzweil 3000, Inspiration, WYNN, Co:Writer, etc.

VI. IntelliSwitch Programming 101

  • Using the control panel presets to provide access to software with built-in scanning
  • Customizing access through Overlay Maker 3

VII. Using IntelliTools Classroom Suite as an Assessment Tool

  • To assign work and generate diagnostic reports for each student
