INTELLITOOLS LAUNCHES NEW READYMADE CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES: FRACTIONS 1 AND 2 AT NECC
Petaluma, California, June 14, 2002 À IntelliToolsÂ, Inc. (www.intellitools.com), for over 20 years the pioneer in learning solutions for the diverse classroom, announces the launch of its first two ReadyMadeÈ Curriculum Activities, Fractions 1 and Fractions 2 timed for release at the National Educational Computing Conference (NECC) in San Antonio, Texas.
ReadyMade Curriculum Activities are new time-saving product offerings from IntelliTools, and are developed to correlate with national and representative state standards and targeted for general education students at specific grade levels. They have been created to help reduce teacher preparation time and can be used "straight out of the box." And they are available as downloads from the Internet or on CD-ROM, for use with IntelliTools Classroom Tools or its free downloadable Player.
ReadyMade Fractions 1 and ReadyMade Fractions 2 are both designed for grades 3-5 and provide instruction and practice in important mathematical concepts to help students understand fractions. They share the same structure and features:
- Graduated complexity (Level 1-5)
- Student portfolios
- Answer key for all problems
- 250 problems for students to practice and develop skills.
ReadyMade Fractions 1: Exploring Fraction Concepts contains a preview of all fraction activities and 250 problems organized in five topic areas:
- Parts of a set
- Sorting fractions
- Comparing fractions
- Equivalent fractions
- Number line fractions.
ReadyMade Fractions 2: Computation, Decimals, and Data Analysis contains a preview of all fraction activities and 250 problems organized in five topic areas:
- Adding fractions
- Subtracting fractions
- Rounding fractions
- Fractions and decimals
- Data analysis.
