(www.intellitools.com), for 25 years the pioneer in learning solutions for preK-8 classrooms, is pleased to announce that Overlay Maker 3 has received a 2005 Distinguished Achievement Award from the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP) for Adaptive Technology in the category of Educational Materials for Special Needs. Awards were announced on June 8 at the association’s annual Educational Publishing Summit in Washington, D.C.

Overlay Maker 3 is a software program for designing and printing customized overlays for IntelliKeys, a programmable alternative keyboard. Custom overlays give IntelliKeys users with physical, visual, or cognitive disabilities the individualized access needed to access IntelliTools Classroom Suite and other software programs that use keyboard commands.
