THREE INTELLITOOLS PRODUCTS IN THE WINNER'S CIRCLE FOR 2002-03 BESSIE AWARDS
Petaluma, California, March 31, 2003 – IntelliTools®, Inc. (www.intellitools.com), for over 20 years the pioneer in learning solutions for the diverse classroom, is pleased to announce that three of its products have won Best Educational Software Awards (BESSIES) for 2002-03 from The ComputED Gazette, published by the ComputED Learning Center. The three products recognized are IntelliMathics®, IntelliPics® Studio, and IntelliTools® Reading: Balanced Literacy.
Now in its ninth year, the BESSIES recognize innovative and content-rich programs and websites that provide parents and educators with the technology tools needed to foster educational excellence. The BESSIES have had the distinction of previously being cosponsored by the CBS-affiliate in San Diego KFMB-TV/Ch. 8).
In addition to recognizing the three IntelliTools products, The ComputED Gazette also highlighted IntelliTools Reading: Balanced Literacy with a product review, commenting:
“This program is really a 'nuts and bolts' approach to early reading skills. An inclusive program – students with physical or cognitive disabilities can use any number of input devices and the software will adapt – it incorporates guided reading, supported writing, and word study/phonics activities.
